Mission Bay's diverse group of learners come together with collaborative science department ready to succeed. Project based learning drives the discoveries, connections and application of science in ways that bring our learners together and build them as scientists throughout our program. Having the tools to complete these projects helps tremendously!
Hands-on learning is always best, especially in areas where students are learning languages and career pathway experiences. These materials will allow us to complete more laboratory exercises and help us become more real world entry ready.
My biology, marine science and environmental classes complete laboratory exercises to give students the true science experience. We need to make these experiences possible for all of our students, making them a little more competitive for college and jobs that require the skills that they will learn through these exercises.
