The dry erase whiteboard and Post-it chart paper will be such a wonderful addition to our small group learning spaces. Within our 5th grade classroom, I will be teaching math in small groups every week. Each small group often has different skills they will be practicing or tasks they will be working with.
The additional white board will give me an opportunity to bring the learning close to the students and give them an opportunity to use the board for learning activities.
We'll be able to raise and lower the board to accommodate all groups and students needs. The chart paper will allow us to record group notes and ideas to save as anchor charts for further learning. Students will also be able to use the Post-it chart paper to make lists, share timelines, and illustrate mathematical thinking.
