I teach a self-contained class, which means my students are with me for all subjects. We use brain breaks and active learning throughout the day to keep our minds alert. However, students must often be in their seats during the school day.
We are requesting bouncy bands, wobble seats and exercise balls to allow students options for helping themselves maintain focus throughout the day.
Students will be able to wobble, rock and bounce while preserving through challenging math problems, diving into literature, and exploring science concepts. My incredible students are preparing for the rigors of middle school and we want to make the most of the time we have together.
