My project will be used to enhance the writing skills of my students while helping them stay calm though sensory clay and art. Each student deserves a chance to shine in his or her way!
When we write, the students stress. The stress then deters them from trying their best. With the help of art and calming activities, they will be motivated to learn the proper techniques. I will use the materials to entice them to want to write. When they want to write, they will do better. Not only will that increase their writing skills, but it will increase their confidence, as well. My goal is for the students to become advanced or proficient on the PSSA. They will be so excited! I can't wait to start!
