The use of instruments is a daily occurrence in our music room. Right now, my students have to share ukuleles simply because the number of students is far greater than the number of ukuleles that we have in our music room. Having to share ukuleles takes away from valuable instruction time- sometimes even having to reteach entire lessons a second time to ensure students are successful.
By donating to our project, you would be providing enough ukuleles that each child in each class would have their own ukulele to play.
Ukuleles are such a great way to teach concepts like melody, rhythm, harmony, form, and style. They’re also a great way to actively engage students in music making!
