I always tend to think of manipulatives as being something to use in math class. But I have found that using manipulatives is important in any subject. My students benefit from hands-on activities. It helps them engage in their learning and they also remember the information longer.
These interactive activities will make learning fun and exciting for my students. I can't wait to see them sequencing stories with cards and magnets, making decisions based on consequences using the card game, and using the social-emotional prompts to respond verbally and in writing. When students are engaged, that's when the magic happens!
