My 4th grade students attend a small urban public elementary school in California. Around 70% of the students are English Language Learners of Latino heritage, and about 70% are eligible for free or reduced lunch. The school community is very tightly knit. My class is a wonderful group of kids who love to learn and work extremely well together.
