Using the parachute and stretch bands, students will work together to achieve goals.
Students will learn that they have to work together, they have to include everyone in the group, and that each student is equally important to achieving the goals. This will transfer directly to the learning we do in teams throughout the year in Science class and in their everyday lives as well.
Activities will include moving together as a team to transfer a ball around the parachute quickly, everyone in a group reaching and moving a ball while being inside of a loop, as well as other various challenges. These lessons will repeated throughout the year so students learn the importance of teamwork and being inclusive.
