Read, Read, Read more about it! The love of reading has decreased in teenage children. I want to make reading fun and interesting. I am asking for two new novels for my classroom. These books I have requested are related to everyday issues that happen here in America. My students love to tie in movies with novels that we read. The two novels I have selected both have movies with them. I want students to love reading again. I asked for "The Great Gilly Hopkins" and "A Monster Calls". Both of these books are great stories that I am sure will keep the attention of my 8th grade students.
