As a first-year teacher, supplies and resources are very limited and I want to be able to provide my students with more hands-on activities and visuals to become part of the lesson. They will be able to do this with the help of flexible seating and taking over any area of the classroom. With a class of 28 students, it can be exhausting sitting at a desk all day in a cramped classroom. With flexible seating, students will be able to wiggle around without walking around. From floor seats and yoga balls, students will be more engaged moving around in their seats and being comfortable in any area in the classroom when reading, discovering, and creating!
My students are always eager to learn and even more so to collaborate!
STEM building blocks will be a great way for students to communicate and collaborate with one another in creating a whole new contraption with their skills!
