These materials will allow the students to increase flexibility and learn how to train more effectively during their independent training and rehearsal time. As the new dance director of Heritage, the dancers have been neglected training in how to take care of the bodies as a dancer for longevity in their field. I currently have more students that have been injured due to lack of understanding and strengthening tools. We are currently bringing in items from their homes to mimic the items needed for training. With the proper tools, the students will be able to strengthen and heal faster.
