98% of the students that I teach live below the poverty line which essentially means they come to school every day hungry. If you notice most of the things on my list are food and beverages. What this will do is to knock out a simple need; hunger and allow my students to focus and become fruitful within the learning experiences I create. The wish-list would also serve as a wonderful way to feed my children after school where I coach scholastic bowl, an academic sport, while providing academic support. My students love to learn but at times I sense the hunger anxiety within them. Your support is greatly appreciated. Help me help our future.
