If my project is completely funded, I will create the appropriate environment for my special education students with social emotional behavioral needs. My students currently fall a minimum of two grade levels below their peers. When these social emotional needs are met, students are able to increase learning time which will also help to increase grade level performance. I will be able to guarantee they have the proper school supplies needed for the classroom, as well as at home. This is important because our school district has more than three-quarters of students from low-income households.
