These books will allow my students to interact with the text during a whole group read aloud lesson. These books are treated with special care since the teacher uses them as a read aloud. Once used as a read aloud, students borrow the book to reread on their own (in some cases many times!). They not only reread the words, but study the pictures and notice details that help support the story.
With these books, I will be able to give my students thought provoking lessons. They will then take those lessons and return to their own independent reading to practice what they learned.
