During a regular day in my classroom, my students are in their seats working on an assignment for 15-45 minutes four to five times a day. This is hard for any person to do as we all get antsy. Many of my students are on the autism spectrum and need some type of movement to stay calm. A few of my students will get up multiple times during a lesson to get out some of their wiggles. Alternative seating will give my students the chance to get out some of their energy while still remaining seated.
These Kore Wobble chairs would be a great option to do just that.
I have also included some building blocks and a bean bag toss game to give my students a couple of extra options to do during free time. I have a set of LEGO that my students love but their is not enough for all of them.
