All of our students need to learn how to use an electronic device because it is an essential tool in todays society. Our classes only have three computers which limit the amount of time each student can spend on them. We have nooks but they are out dated and very worn. New tablets in the classroom will allow students the opportunity have more time to assess different learning programs that are offered on line. This will help with reinforcement of what is being taught. Students will also have the opportunity to use the device to connect with other students and explore places online as we teach about other countries. First and foremost, it will give all students a chance to learn how to use technology effectively. They can listen to stories, sight words, etc.. The device will play many roles in the program for the students. The first and foremost is to give all students a chance to explore, learn and have the opportunity to learn through technology .
