My 4 and 5-year-old students are natural scientists curious about their world. As a teacher, having materials that allow students to explore and experiment makes learning fun, meaningful, and leads to discoveries. I am asking for items that will support my students' learning, develop their fine and gross motor skills, vocabulary development and communication skills so that they can explore, question, think, and discover. These young scientists also love using their senses to learn and color printouts, scented dot painters, playdough mats, alphabet beads, alphabet and number stampers, magnetic wands, and a timer will help them use their senses to explore and learn about the world around them in the short time period we have together in our classroom.
