I am requesting art supplies including crayons, markers, glue, scissors, air dry clay and more. My students need sensory stimulation throughout their day. Getting to utilize a vast array of art supplies helps fulfill this need. My non-verbal students are able to express feelings and emotions through art that they otherwise cannot express. These supplies assist them in connecting with the world around them.
Many of my special education students are very creative and love going to Art class. These supplies will enable them to experience using many different types of artistic expression. Whether it be coloring with markers or being able to use paints (or even finger paints), these students can express things that they are unable to express verbally.
