Folder organizers will help students keep their homework for each period from getting unnecessary folds and wrinkles. It will also help the students complete their homework. Paper will help me complete activities for the students.
I love for my students to go up to the board and have them teach the class because this gives them a sense of empowerment and confidence. This means my dry erase markers disappear or run out of ink fast.
Pencil organizers will help their pencils and pens from disappearing. Students will learn how to become organized all along. Having a paper organizer shows my students that I can also be organized. I have to practice what I teach.
Helping my students become more organized is not an overnight fix, but these items will help my students with a good start. Organization can be very difficult for students with learning disabilities, but I don't want that to hinder them from doing their absolute very best!
