When students come into my classroom (and school), I want them to feel like they're walking into a home. We don't have access to a color printer, but I can use the cutting machine to create cheerful boards and signs in my room and in hallways using colored paper. Students would also be able to use the machine to elevate their own projects for different classes.
Many of my students have educational gaps. The calendar math pocket chart would be used every day to strengthen students' foundation in math. In addition, it would serve to build their English skills by reviewing the months, days, and dates, of the year.
