Music is an essential part of all student education. Often in small rural schools there are not enough instruments to go around and while singing brings great joy and it's own rewards learning an instrument such will help my students will learn to read correct notation, rhythms, musicianship and a strengthen their musical performance skills. Music can teach my students about cultural diversity as they explore instruments and the music played by people from other cultures. By donating to our project you will help my students learn about diversity and how music can bring the world a little closer to home.

About my class
