Age appropriate materials for students with significant cognitive disabilities are hard to find! Fortunately, Teachers Pay Teachers provides excellent resources that teachers across the country have already created and implemented in their classrooms in areas from creating a grocery shopping list to how to apply deodorant. Once we purchase the materials, the work has only just begun. They must be cut, laminated, and assembled.
Sturdy laminate ensures our learning materials are able to be sanitized and last for years to come. Plus, it is so forgiving with the unsteady hands of the students with disabilities that use them.
