The use of Scholastic News, Let's Write, and Disaster and Survival will enhance the current curriculum and give my students the opportunity to learn about current events in a kid-friendly way, to grow as a writer and build knowledge and reading skills. Scholastic News presents news stories in exciting and engaging ways that will capture my students' interests and instill in them a love of learning. During remote learning, we can read and discuss these articles as we learn together. The Disaster and Survival stories will also be interesting for students to read.
