We will be using all of the materials to aim for proficiency in reading, science, phonics and writing! Each students needs a notebook for the whole school year. I show parents the progress their child has made at conferences. We look back to the beginning the of year and turn the pages to see how their writing transforms! Plus it is fun to see their drawings! Additionally, we need some STEM texts to anchor our lessons around. The magnetic letter will help students with their phonics and spelling skills. We will use them during centers! The clear pocket charts will be great for handwriting practice!
