My class needs basic back to school supplies. We need chart paper, tubs, markers, crates, tablets and lots and lots of paper. Students use chart paper to brainstorm ideas when working together in groups or to present information learned. We need markers to write with and plastic tubs to organize material and manipulatives. We need crates to sort and divide manipulatives.
These materials are basic supplies that will be used everyday for student growth.
The tablets are used for differentiation in the classroom with multiple learning styles. There are many apps that students can use to practice math skills that target areas they need extra growth in. We also use tablets to take pictures or videos when peer tutoring or load to seesaw what they have learned.
