In my class, students often get frustrated when problems don’t work out the first time. They’ll request a new page, or use 5 pieces of paper to make sure that their work is correct. The amount of paper consumption is unreal. To help reduce this, I would love to have personal dry erase boards and markers for students to use while they are in my class. The dry erase boards chosen have one blank side and one side for graphs of functions. The coordinate plane side would GREATLY reduce the cost and consumption of graph paper used in my classroom, and the blank side would provide a place for students to work out their equations with a low-risk of mistakes and frustration. We would use these every day in my class- from an alternative to paper to a quick check for understanding when they hold it up to show the work they’re proud of accomplishing.
