Before the 2019-2020 school year ended due to COVID-19, I had my students write down the titles of books that they would be interested in reading and or would like us to check out from the library to read together as a class. It has been proven that students will willingly read text if they like the topic that the text covers! Our school system is adopting, "Project Based Learning" this year and it is my goal for students to be able to use these texts with their projects! My overall goal of this project is to be able to diversify my library for this upcoming school year for my students with things that are sure to interest them and to better their comprehension and reading ability.
