Often times children do not see a reflection of themselves in the materials used in schools & mass media. I would like to change this completely. I would like my classroom library to reflect the students that I serve. Students need to fall in love with reading and with their culture. Books can help this to happen. "Nonfiction lets us learn more; fiction lets us be more." Kylene I want my students to aim high & become all that they desire to be. I know that great books will help them get there.
