They will be able to make connections to their own world with the people represented in this book. My students will complete essays and creative projects while reading these books. This book will connect the Social Studies curriculum with my ELA curriculum. Students will be able to make connections to what they are reading in their World History Classes to what they are reading. This book will help motivate my students to want to learn and understand the complex issues of the world.
