Scholastic Let's Find Out magazines provide weekly non-fiction readers that hold the interest of students. Additionally, each magazine comes with a digital copy that can be used at home--perfect for our current situation for Covid-19 and the hybrid model my school will be starting the school year with. The digital copy also includes games and videos that enhance each lesson as well as additional ideas and paper-pencil activities that we can use in school.
Each magazine incorporates activities across the curriculum including ELA, Social Studies, Science, and more using topics and themes that are relevant to the students and events happening in our world.
Last spring, another teacher let me try the digital version with my class while we were teaching in a distance learning model, and my students loved it!
