Through the generosity of Ðǿմ«Ã½ and district initiatives, my classroom has fifteen Chromebook computers and five iPads for student use. Right now, computers and iPads are stored in a file cabinet because there is no place to keep them safe. There are not enough power cords or outlets that allow the charging of all our technology resources and when it's time to use some, students are unable to use the devices because the batteries are drained.
This lockable cart would provide one-stop charging, as well as serve as a secure place to store the technology.
It's difficult having technology spread throughout the classroom close to an available outlet. One place for everything would optimize classroom efficiency. Students would know where to go and where to put things back.
