Each year is a challenge in our school. I teach 3rd Grade and have the pressure of bringing extremely low students to grade level so that they can fullfil the requirements of the Ohio Third Grade Reading Guarantee successfully. Our school has extremely limited resources and I often am spending my money on these things. The Scholastic products I am requesting will be used as a writing center, reading center, math center, or during whole group instruction to help provide proper scaffolding in the class to help all of my learners. The students love reading the Scholastic News, and the resource is so beneficial to my students because it is an excellent resource to use cross curricular! I can work on so many skills with just one instruction piece!
