My students are classified as special education students, meaning they are academically behind a year or two from where they are supposed to be. In order to fill in that gap they need constant repetition and engaging activities. Some of my students work better with more hands on learning. Items such as the games, activity puzzles will not only help them be engaged in their learning, but it will give them the practice they need to help reach their goals in their individualized education plan. I plan on individualizing their work using these puzzles and games to put in the student's work bins and creating stations for them to practice with the games and activities. The wobble seats will be used to allow my students to have flexible seating and help them be more focused in their work.
My goal is to help my students reach those goals while keeping them fully engaged in their learning. These tools would be extremely helpful in helping me accomplish that goal.
These resources will not only keep my students fully engaged in their learning, but it will help them practice those fundamental basics they so desperately are needing.
