I will use the bean bag for the Calm Space corner of my room. This is an area where children can go to sit in a quiet corner and relax and get regulated so they are able to get back to their classroom and attending to instruction. The children that I work with that are on the Autism spectrum can use the Rest Stop, with the mat and a weighted blanket to calm themselves. This area is designed with these children in mind. The light covers will be used to give the room a calm and cool feeling. This helps children calm down and regulate themselves.
