By donating to our class project, you will provide students with an opportunity to take a screen break during indoor recess. This will ensure students get the necessary mental break and are able to pay attention and focus the rest of the day.
The Social-Emotional Learning books like I Can't Do That, YET: Growth Mindset will provide opportunities for teachable moments and self-reflection. These books will help introduce important class conversations. Students will build community, increase self-awareness and ultimately make good choices leading to positive behaviors in our classroom.
Lastly, students deserve a fun environment with posters, pictures, decorations, and affirmations around our classroom walls. Displaying colorful, welcoming posters in my classroom will ensure my students feel safe, loved, and belong in our class.
