While these supplies will not help with online learning, they will help the students learn when they are in-person. Students have been out of the classroom much over the past two years, so making the most of their learning while they are in-person will have even more of an impact. Students always learn best with more active learning! Having a variety of learning supplies that pique their interests will not only bolster their learning, but also spark curiosity in finding out more on a topic. I mentioned earlier the students love to present the information they have learned.
True learning is digesting knowledge and producing a product to share in their own words. Therefore, I plan to use these materials in my classroom through free explore. After introducing the centers in small groups, I would allow rotations during small groups for exploration. They would also have access to books on the topic and videos they can watch on their iPads. When they have had enough opportunity for learning, they would be given the supplies to create a presentation to share with the class allowing their artistic personalities really shine through!
