All of these resources, from writing materials to chart paper, will help my students become more engaged and have an opportunity to participate in more group activities. The chart paper will be used for activities like gallery walks. After working in groups to complete a task on a sheet of chart paper, students are rotated to see other groups' work and add information that they deem beneficial to the entire class. My students love to compare and learn from each other. They love working in groups and encouraging others through peer reviews. Providing these resources can help my struggling readers and writers gain confidence in smaller groups and student-led instruction.
