I want to create a makerspace in my library so that my students can express themselves creatively in a variety of different ways. I've been working on developing a strong library collection but I also want to have other ways that my students can express themselves. LEGO bricks are a great way for students to learn collaborative team work and explore their creativity. By donating to this project you will be contributing to the creation of a space where students can explore and grow in a safe welcoming environment. Makerspaces are a useful tool where kids can learn STEM skills in a non-classroom environment. They're also a great break space for students who don't feel safe outside during recess and lunch.

About my class
