I am requesting building bricks (LEGOs) for STEM bins. My students absolutely love anything hands-on. Using building bricks allows my kiddos to brainstorm, plan, design, build, test and redesign structures for a variety of reasons and purposes. Students can use these STEM bins for science, but also across content areas such as English Language Arts and math! These STEM bins will encourage students to think like engineers and architects and will foster challenge them to be problems-solvers. To top it all off, my kiddos will have the opportunity to collaborate and work together to complete STEM challenges using these materials!
