I am excited to start the year out with a positive message to each student and adult that enters the classroom. I want them to see the visual messages that will encourage perseverance, trust, respect, excellence, courage, and knowledge! It is so important that we support one another in such a trying time. I want to convey a message that says you are special, you can achieve your goals, and overcome great obstacles. Our students were faced with some tough challenging times these past two years. I saw them grow and build their confidence through the digital classroom. It was also challenging for us teachers as well. However, we made it through with the help of leaning on one another to help get us through a tough transition. As I sat to plan the school year I thought about the theme of 4th-grade superheroes without capes and got extremely excited about the projects and things we could do with this theme all year.
