My students like to read books on topics they are interested in, but our classroom library does not have enough of these books. They read a book and want another on the same topic, but can't get anymore because of the limited variety of the books in our classroom.
My students have been learning about athletes as leaders of social change, the rain forest, and human rights. When they begin learning about a topic, they want to know more and more about it. I don't want to stifle that love of learning because of a lack of materials. The students are more engaged when the books on on subjects in their interest. Please help us create a print-rich, inviting classroom library.
About my class
