Your donation would help me meet new guidelines for social distancing by creating a safe, separate place for my students' backpacks. The backpack rack will be used in the classroom to hold student backpacks, sweaters/coats and lunchboxes. By having a backpack rack in the classroom, my students will no longer have to hang their backpacks on the back of their chairs, providing a safer environment for my students. Backpacks easily fell off onto the floor, creating an unsafe space. Many times, students would accidentally knock off a backpack during transitions, causing us to stop an activity to quickly clear the floors and taking away valuable learning time.
