Many of my students do not have access to books at home and rely on the school and class libraries to check out high-quality books. There is a genuine enthusiasm about books and an excitement for reading in our school that is not matched by our available resources.
Class book sets for my students will allow them to both individually and as a group, escape into a new world during these trying times, and engage with each other while keeping themselves safe. Even if we end up learning from home again, these book sets will help them stay connected while being distanced from each other.
