WeDo 2.0 Lego Kits will provide hands-on opportunities for students in my classroom to explore S.T.E.M. challenges and link learning to the real world. The kits spark students' curiosity and help them develop communication, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills in an exciting way. By donating to this project you will help ignite interest in computer science. Girls especially are falling behind in this area. Here are some of the challenges students will be presented with: -Discover ways that scientists and engineers can use rovers to explore where humans cannot go -Explore how prosthetic designs can help people with disabilities -Explore the different way that scientists monitor volcanic activity Please help me give my students an opportunity to think critically and find solutions to problems!
