Transitioning from going to school daily to being at home all the time has been an abrupt change for my children. Many of my students' parents have reached out to me, explaining they cannot draw a picture of a way that they care about each other because they do not have the means to do this at home.
Crayons, markers, and paper are basic art supplies that will allow my students to continue to engage with their work. This will help my families to cope with some of the stress caused by this drastic change and give my students an outlet through which to pour their emotions.
