Our speech-language team was recently moved to a beautiful classroom. We have approximately 112 children on our caseload and would like to offer an area to sit, move, and play games. In the past, we have had to work at tables.
Help us to maximize our new space! We can be creative with our classroom and give our students different areas to target their individual goals. For example, we can help students to follow directions by moving their bodies, or increase their language through pretend play. We can read stories on the rug and use follow-up activities to reinforce the lesson. Having the flexibility of using different areas of the room will help us to incorporate movement into our lessons!
