The mission of B3: Brain, Body, Behavior is to help students develop their fundamental motor skills to spark their brain, build their bodies, and improve their behavior to increase academic performance.
The idea is that our brain controls our actions, our thoughts, and our emotions, so targeted physical exercises help us to control our behaviors and show our smarts.
The program focuses on four different types of exercise, each targeted to increase skills vital to building students' tactile, proprioception, vestibular, and visual systems, which in turn helps them:
- Increase their attention span
- Develop self-regulation
- Increase their cognitive responsiveness
- Develop hand-eye coordination skills
- Improve their mood
Please help us by donating the materials we need to build a B3 classroom where everyone can be successful!
