The best way to increase reading ability is to read more and with a classroom library, my students will grow stronger in reading. Students want to read books that they find interesting, so having choice about what to read is an important component in building literacy that will strengthen my students' futures. With these books, my students will be able to choose to read about teens facing the same issues they do, get lost in a silly story, and learn about the Spanish culture. Students will use these books during their free choice reading portion of our class. These books will help my students increase their Spanish reading proficiency while enjoying a good story. This is a win-win for everyone.
