Students will have books that they can read in class and then when the year is over, they will be able to have a start to a small at home library. Reading at home and at school during the early years is so important for beginning literacy skills. During this time of COVID and not being able to share books and supplies, it has made it expensive to have kids have what they need for learning and pleasure reading. I am hoping to get a start on individual learning libraries for each of my first grade students. Thank you for the support!
