We will be using these calculators in class to evaluate and solve trigonometric functions. Find the zeros of polynomial functions using tables, graphs, and functions available on the calculator. I do not have an entire classroom set of calculators and live in an area where it may be hard for some students to purchase them on their own. There are many features of the TI-83 Plus graphing calculators that I would love to share with my students in my precalculus class and my honors calculus class but do not have the opportunity as I do not have enough for every student to use while in my classroom.
